10 Films to See in February
While January (as is the norm) had little of quality to offer moviegoers other than holdovers from the previous year, February looks a lot more promising. This month will see the arrival of a new comedy from the Coen brothers, a thriller from John Hillcoat, several foreign dramas that have already collected raves from reviewers, and what could be 2016's best horror film.
The latest from director Pablo Larraín (No) won the Silver Bear in Berlin last year. Taking place in a secluded, seaside house, the Spanish-language drama explores the lives of four former priests and the woman who cares for them. Exiled from their communities as a form of punishment, the priests find their lives further upset by the visit of a Vatican emissary and a newly condemned guest.
