While some of the most-anticipated games originally expected this year have—no surprise here—been delayed into 2018, the fall months will still bring plenty of options. Below, we profile the most noteworthy videogames scheduled for release between now and the end of 2017.

This long-delayed indie—a run-and-gun platformer—has been generating buzz for years thanks to a distinctive visual style borrowed from 1930s-era cartoons. First-time developers Chad and Jared Moldenhauer (aka Studio MDHR) have also injected plenty of surrealist humor into the difficult game, which features an abundance of boss fights but allows you to play with a friend in co-op mode.
