Fall Games Preview: 20 Most-Anticipated Videogames
While some of the most-anticipated games originally expected this year have—no surprise here—been delayed into 2018, the fall months will still bring plenty of options. Below, we profile the most noteworthy videogames scheduled for release between now and the end of 2017.
One of the best games released for the original Wii console was the JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles, with its imaginative, Titan-dominated world. Barring a last-minute delay, it will get a sequel before year's end. Unlike Xenoblade Chronicles X, which came out in 2015 for the Wii U, the new game is considered a true sequel rather than a "spiritual successor," though it will nevertheless feature all-new characters and a new setting, giving newcomers to the series a chance to jump right in.
