Fall Games Preview: 20 Most-Anticipated Videogames
While some of the most-anticipated games originally expected this year have—no surprise here—been delayed into 2018, the fall months will still bring plenty of options. Below, we profile the most noteworthy videogames scheduled for release between now and the end of 2017.
2015's reboot of EA's Star Wars: Battlefront series of action games met with disapproval from critics and gamers. Can this sequel right the Star Destroyer? Battlefront II will be bigger than the original (most notably, by adding content from movies outside of the original trilogy), offers improved air (space) combat, and—more importantly—addresses the first game's major shortcomings by adding a fully fleshed-out single-player campaign. The latter offers an in-canon story that takes place just after events in Return of the Jedi and has you playing as a new character in addition to Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren.
