While some of the most-anticipated games originally expected this year have—no surprise here—been delayed into 2018, the fall months will still bring plenty of options. Below, we profile the most noteworthy videogames scheduled for release between now and the end of 2017.
The racing franchise returns for the first time since a disappointing 2015 reboot. The new open-world but story-based "action driving" game features three playable characters (part of a crew attempting to take down a cartel) and numerous customization options, and eliminates the previous game's always-online requirement. Early looks at the game reveal a clear Fast and Furious influence.
