Delayed from its original August launch date, Shadow of War serves as a sequel to the 2014 open-world fantasy game Shadow of Mordor (and, like that game, takes place prior to the events in J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy). Expect a much bigger world (and bigger battles), more RPG elements, and an expanded Nemesis System that makes the game more difficult and more varied.
