Fall Games Preview: 20 Most-Anticipated Videogames
Below, we profile the most noteworthy videogames scheduled for release between now and the end of the year. Games without official release dates (like this week's new Early Access title Divinity: Original Sin 2) are omitted, since they may not arrive until 2017.
Again developed by Arkane Studios, the first major sequel to the award-winning 2012 game Dishonored picks up the action 15 years later and gives players the option of playing again as Corvo Attano or selecting Princess (now Empress) Emily Kaldwin instead—the missions are the same either way, but you get through them using different paths and skills. (Unlike last time, both lead characters will be voiced, while actors such as Vincent D'Onofrio, Rosario Dawson, and Sam Rockwell voice additional characters). The action this time shifts mainly to the coastal city of Karnaca, which offers more of a blend of urban and nature settings.
