Fall Games Preview: 20 Most-Anticipated Videogames
Below, we profile the most noteworthy videogames scheduled for release between now and the end of the year. Games without official release dates (like this week's new Early Access title Divinity: Original Sin 2) are omitted, since they may not arrive until 2017.
This follow-up to 2013's Dead Rising 3 returns Capcom's over-the-top, open-world zombie-killing series to its original setting—the fictional town of Willamette, Colorado, this time during the Christmas season—while also centering on the first game's main character of photojournalist Frank West. Up to 4 players can now participate in the main campaign in co-op mode, while other changes include the ability to mod your character and the elimination of the campaign's hard time limit. Though the game is exclusive to Microsoft platforms this fall, it could head to PlayStation next year.
