Fall Games Preview: 20 Most-Anticipated Videogames
Below, we profile the most noteworthy videogames scheduled for release between now and the end of the year. Games without official release dates (like this week's new Early Access title Divinity: Original Sin 2) are omitted, since they may not arrive until 2017.
Editor's note: This game has been delayed until Q1 2017. This sequel to the 2014 role-playing adventure South Park: The Stick of Truth (based, in turn, on Comedy Central's long-running animated series) features an improved combat system and a female playable character, among other changes. Of course, you'll mainly be playing to experience Trey Parker and Matt Stone's warped sense of humor, which is expressed through such gameplay innovations as new controls for total sphincter manipulation. (Just be sure to avoid any demos of the game that are showing off their new "Nosulus Rift" device. Trust us.)
