2018 Fall TV Preview: 25 Notable Shows
In the gallery above, we preview the most notable new and returning television shows scheduled to debut between now and the end of 2018. Note that the new fall shows on the five broadcast networks will be profiled separately next week.
Debuts September 14 on Hulu. A co-production between Hulu and the UK's Channel 4, the latest series from House of Cards creator Beau Willimon takes place in the not too distant future, where it traces the origins of the first human space mission to Mars. But it's more personal drama than sci-fi, focusing on the astronauts enlisted for the journey, their families, and the scientists leading the project on Earth.
Sean Penn (in his first regular TV role) and Natascha McElhone head a cast that also features James Ransone, Oded Fehr, Hannah Ware, and LisaGay Hamilton. All eight episodes will be available to stream immediately on launch day.
