2018 Fall TV Preview: 25 Notable Shows
In the gallery above, we preview the most notable new and returning television shows scheduled to debut between now and the end of 2018. Note that the new fall shows on the five broadcast networks will be profiled separately next week.
Debuts September 14 on Netflix. Can series creators Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault repeat the magic of the first season of their true-crime spoof series, which won over critics last year during its surprisingly good and clever debut season despite what promos suggested would be eight episodes of dick jokes? They will try by sending that season's intrepid high school filmmakers off to a new location to investigate a series of threats and incidents (beginning with one called "The Brownout," and, yes, it's as bad as you think) aimed at a group of high schoolers by someone who operates under the alias of The Turd Burglar. Early reviews suggest that this season is definitely darker than the first, but is once again worth a watch even if it takes a few episodes to find its footing.
