2018 Fall TV Preview: 25 Notable Shows
In the gallery above, we preview the most notable new and returning television shows scheduled to debut between now and the end of 2018. Note that the new fall shows on the five broadcast networks will be profiled separately next week.
Debuts November 16 on Netflix. Superproducer Chuck Lorre may be a CBS all-star thanks to hits like The Big Bang Theory, Mom, and Two and a Half Men, but his only Netflix series to date was a one-and-done dud (Disjointed).
But his second comedy series for the streaming service sounds a bit more promising. A single-camera comedy (only Lorre's second, following Young Sheldon), The Kominsky Method stars Michael Douglas as an aging Hollywood acting coach and Alan Arkin as his longtime agent and friend, while Nancy Travis plays a divorcée who enrolls in his acting class. Lisa Edelstein will also have a recurring guest role, and writers include The Daily Show veteran David Javerbaum.
