2018 Fall TV Preview: 25 Notable Shows
In the gallery above, we preview the most notable new and returning television shows scheduled to debut between now and the end of 2018. Note that the new fall shows on the five broadcast networks will be profiled separately next week.
Debuts October 14 on HBO. For their first series following the conclusion of their HBO hit Girls, the producer-writer-director duo of Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner have adapted a 2016 British comedy series about a group of old friends on a back-to-nature group holiday at a lackluster campsite. Dunham won't appear in the new show, but Jennifer Garner will, and it's her first regular TV role since Alias. Joining her are David Tennant, Juliette Lewis, Arturo Del Puerto, Brett Gelman, Ione Skye, and Bridget Everett. Billed as a limited series (though it theoretically could return for another year), Camping will run for eight episodes.
