26 TV Shows to Watch This Fall

American Horror Story: Cult 9/5
A politically themed seventh season adds Lena Dunham, Billy Eichner, Billie Lourd, and Colton Haynes to returning players such as Sarah Paulson, Cheyenne Jackson (pictured), Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, and Mare Winningham.
You're the Worst 9/6
Guests for the fourth season of the acclaimed and acerbic FXX comedy include Zosia Mamet and Lou Diamond Phillips.
BoJack Horseman 9/8
Netflix's critically acclaimed animated series returns for a fourth season on the same day that the show's first soundtrack album is released.
One Mississippi 9/8
Tig Notaro's semi-autobiographical Amazon comedy series returns for a six-episode second season.
The Mindy Project 9/12
This final season of the Hulu original will see Chris Messina return for multiple episodes, while Reese Witherspoon will also guest.
Broad City 9/13

Better Things 9/14
The critically acclaimed, Pamela Adlon-starring FX comedy returns for a second season that sees Adlon directing every one of the 10 episodes.
The Good Place 9/20
NBC's serialized comedy starring Kristen Bell and Ted Danson returns for a sophomore season that picks up after last year's game-changing finale.
Transparent 9/22
Season 4 of the Amazon dramedy finds the Pfeffermans further exploring their family history, a journey that sends Jeffrey Tambor's Maura to Israel. The series was just renewed for a 5th season.
This Is Us 9/26
NBC's hit drama newcomer returns for a 2nd season which will feature Sylvester Stallone in a potentially recurring guest role.
Great News 9/28
Reid Scott (Veep) and Tina Fey join the NBC sitcom's second season in recurring roles, with the latter playing a character described as "Sheryl Sandberg on steroids."
Mr. Robot 10/11
The third season of USA's thriller picks up immediately after last year's cliffhanger ending. Bobby Cannavale joins the cast.
The Crown 12/8
Season 2 (the last with Claire Foy playing the queen) of the Netflix period drama adds Michael C. Hall (playing JFK), Jodi Balfour, and Matthew Goode to the cast.
Black Mirror tbd
The fourth season (second for Netflix) of the hit anthology series will stream this fall. Jodie Foster, John Hillcoat, and David Slade are among the directors for the six new episodes.
