Electric Messiah by High on Fire
Out October 5 on eOne. Long dormant metal band Sleep made a surprise comeback earlier this year with The Sciences, but that doesn't mean Sleep guitarist Matt Pike has left his day job as frontman of High on Fire. That metal band, too, has a new album this year, their first since 2015's acclaimed Luminiferous (which, like their new one, was produced by Kurt Ballou). They'll spend much of the fall on tour in support of the record.
