Fall Music Preview (2017): 40+ Key Albums

The next few months will bring new albums from St. Vincent, Taylor Swift, U2, Beck, Morrissey, Foo Fighters, Kelela, and more. We have selected 40 of this fall's most-anticipated releases (plus some bonus picks), and you can listen to tracks from each one below.

The following albums may be released this fall, but have yet to be officially announced.

Björk tbd
The artist is already taking pre-orders for her new album despite failing to disclose any other details about it (such as a title and release date). Lead single "The Gate" will arrive on September 18.

Cat Power tbd
Chan Marshall recently announced that her 10th album (and first since 2012) is "ready to go," though no other details were revealed.

MGMT Little Dark Age
A few months ago, the indie band revealed that they had completed their first album since their self-titled 2013 release. No date has been announced, however.

Shamir tbd
Dropped by XL after changing up his sound, Vegas-based Shamir Bailey will release his third album for new label Father/Daughter Records, possibly this November.

Tove Lo Blue Lips [Lady Wood Phase II]
The Swedish pop star's follow-up to 2016's Lady Wood is expected to arrive this fall. It will include the just-released single "Disco Tits."

Jessie Ware Glasshouse
Ware's third album is expected to arrive before year's end. It will include the recently released track "Midnight."
