The next few months will bring new albums from St. Vincent, Taylor Swift, U2, Beck, Morrissey, Foo Fighters, Kelela, and more. We have selected 40 of this fall's most-anticipated releases (plus some bonus picks), and you can listen to tracks from each one below.
David Lynch's stunning, confounding revival of one of TV's most iconic series gets a pair of soundtrack releases this week. One features the score from composer Angelo Badalamenti (plus Johnny Jewel and Lynch himself), while the other collects the Roadhouse performances that closed out most of the episodes by artists such as Chromatics, Nine Inch Nails, Eddie Vedder, Sharon Van Etten, and Au Revoir Simone.
