Release date: September 27 for PS4, XB1, and PC
Developed by the Bandai Namco team behind the God Eater series, Code Vein is yet another post-apocalyptic, open-world, action-RPG, and it's finally arriving next month after first being targeted for a 2018 release. You play as an extra-powerful (but amnesiac) vampire known as a Revenant, and you'll need plenty of blood to avoid becoming "Lost." You'll also get to select an AI companion to help you navigate the dystopian environment. Gameplay (especially combat) looks to be modeled after Dark Souls, though the visuals carry an anime aesthetic.
