Release date: September 24 for PS4, XB1, and PC
The 2017 Souls-inspired, sci-fi action-RPG The Surge was not one of that year's better games despite its novel dismembering mechanic, but there was apparently enough potential there to merit a sequel. And details and early demos for The Surge 2 suggest that it could be an improved experience. Among the changes: characters are now customizable, the environment (a full city this time) is much larger and more varied, and combat is speedier and features many new weapons.
