EA's street racing series celebrates its 25th anniversary with this new installment set in the open world of Palm City, a stand-in for Miami. Developed by Ghost Games (who also handled the previous entry, 2017's lackluster Need for Speed Payback), Heat offers a choice between day and night modes. The former includes sanctioned race events in which you compete to earn upgrades to your vehicle, while the night mode features illegal street races in which you'll have to evade the cops.
