First released in 2009 for Xbox 360 and PS3, Ghostbusters: The Video Game was a surprisingly decent movie-tie in game, likely thanks to several factors. First, the third-person action game told a new story rather than merely rehash the original movie. And not only did the films' cast members (including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Max von Sydow, and Annie Potts) voice their game counterparts, but two of them—Aykroyd and Ramis—aided in writing the game (as they did the movies). This fall, the game gets an HD/4K remaster when it heads to the latest generation of hardware.
