In the gallery above, find details on the most-anticipated games that are scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC between now and the end of 2019, listed in alphabetical order.
Release date: August 30 for PS4, XB1, and PC
A new "cinematic" horror series from Until Dawn creators Supermassive Games, The Dark Pictures Anthology launches next week with its first stand-alone installment, Man of Medan. The game tells a supernatural horror story set in the South Pacific, where a group of Americans on a diving vacation discover a ghost ship, and the choices you make will affect how their story plays out—and whether each person survives until the end of the game.
Local and online co-op modes are available in addition to single-player gameplay, and, after you finish the game, a "Curator's Cut" mode (which will be added at a later date, though pre-order buyers get it immediately) allows you to re-experience the story from different viewpoints, revealing additional details.
Future Dark Pictures games (and there are three already in development) will inhabit the same overall world but tell completely different stories, and thus can eventually be played in any order.
