Fall Network TV Preview: A Guide to All 17 New Shows
In the gallery above, we preview all 17 of the new shows debuting this fall on the five broadcast networks, listed in alphabetical order.
WHEN: Monday, September 23 on NBC
WHAT: A legal drama centering on a top Memphis civil rights attorney who asks his estranged daughter to join his firm after her mother suddenly passes away. While family drama will play a part in the series, the bulk of the storylines will be legal in nature, with cases often drawn from recent headlines. NBC originally gave the series a 13-episode order, but recently commissioned six additional scripts, which is probably a positive sign.
WHO'S IN IT: Jimmy Smits, who first rose to fame playing an attorney on NBC's late-1980s hit L.A. Law, leads a cast that also features Caitlin McGee as his daughter, plus Michael Luwoye, Scott Shepherd, and Barry Sloane.
WHO MADE IT: Dean Georgaris (The Brave)
