WHAT: A comedy following a disgraced politician who was New York City's youngest city councilman in history until he was brought down by a public intoxication incident. But he gets an opportunity to rebuild his life when he is hired by a group of immigrants who hope to become American citizens.
WHO'S IN IT: Kal Penn leads a cast that also includes Joel Kim Booster, Kiran Deol, Poppy Liu, Samba Schutte, Diana Maria Riva, and Moses Storm.
WHO MADE IT: Penn created the series with Matt Murray, who has written for The Good Place and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, while other producers include Mike Schur (The Good Place, Parks and Recreation).
