The Most-Anticipated Videogames Coming This Fall
Don't be too sad that summer's ending: It just means that the year's biggest videogames are about to start rolling out over the coming weeks. In the gallery above, we preview this fall's most-anticipated game releases headed to every console (and PC), from Red Dead Redemption 2 to a bunch of games that aren't Red Dead Redemption 2.
Episode 1 out September 27 for PC/PS4/XB1. Following a teaser in the form of this summer's free game The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, episodic adventure game Life Is Strange kicks off its second season with its first episode since 2015 at the end of September. In all, Life Is Strange 2 will span five episodes, with a story centering on a pair of new protagonists. Young Seattle brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz, aged 16 and 9, respectively, find themselves on the run (and headed for their family's hometown in Mexico) after a sudden tragedy.
If you played the first game (or Captain Spirit), your decisions there will impact the story here. Either way, expect another emotional narrative with a twist of the supernatural. A spin-off comic book series will launch in early December.
