The Most-Anticipated Videogames Coming This Fall
Don't be too sad that summer's ending: It just means that the year's biggest videogames are about to start rolling out over the coming weeks. In the gallery above, we preview this fall's most-anticipated game releases headed to every console (and PC), from Red Dead Redemption 2 to a bunch of games that aren't Red Dead Redemption 2.
Out October 2 for PC/XB1. The Forza Horizon open-world racing games have scored big with critics, especially since coming to the Xbox One. (The most recent, 2016's Forza Horizon 3, scored a franchise-best 91 on XB1.) Can Microsoft and developer Playground Games maintain that level of quality with version four?
The new game is set in Britain and features dynamic seasons (which dramatically change the look and feel of the game) and weather, a shared open world populated with your fellow players (allowing you to team up in groups with your friends), and over 450 licensed vehicles, including off-road cars and motorcycles. The game runs at 60 FPS on the Xbox One X, and includes Play Anywhere support (so one purchase unlocks both the PC and Xbox versions). Cross-play between the two versions will also be supported at launch, and you'll have the option to play offline if you wish to go solo.
