The Most-Anticipated Videogames Coming This Fall
Don't be too sad that summer's ending: It just means that the year's biggest videogames are about to start rolling out over the coming weeks. In the gallery above, we preview this fall's most-anticipated game releases headed to every console (and PC), from Red Dead Redemption 2 to a bunch of games that aren't Red Dead Redemption 2.
Out October 12 for PC/PS4/XB1. Reportedly arriving with far better pre-sale numbers than Battlefield V, fall's other major FPS franchise features a sequel to 2015's Black Ops 3, once again coming from developer Treyarch.
The Pick 10 customization system and Specialist characters return from Black Ops 3. But you'll notice one big change in Black Ops IIII (yes, that's how they're titling it) right off the bat: there's no single-player campaign. (There will still be some stand-alone solo missions revolving around each Specialist, however.) Will there be a battle royale mode? Of course. (It's called "Blackout.") Zombies? Check. (And it will have three full maps/missions.)
DLC will be released on a continuous schedule (rather than in discrete chunks) via the new "Black Ops Pass" subscription. Note that the PC version will be exclusive to Blizzard's Battle.net.
