The Most-Anticipated Videogames Coming This Fall
Don't be too sad that summer's ending: It just means that the year's biggest videogames are about to start rolling out over the coming weeks. In the gallery above, we preview this fall's most-anticipated game releases headed to every console (and PC), from Red Dead Redemption 2 to a bunch of games that aren't Red Dead Redemption 2.
Out October 5 for Switch (exclusive). It was only a matter of time before the 20-year-old Mario Party franchise arrived on the Switch console. And this 11th main game in the series looks like a good one. And a flexible one: multiple game modes allow for standard 1-4 player Party Mode gaming as well as 2v2 co-op via a new Partner Party mode for local play, plus an online multiplayer mode for the first time in franchise history. (Want more? The new Toad's Rec Room mode allows you to link multiple Switches together via local wi-fi to create a giant multiplayer game that utilizes all of the combined screens.) Super Mario Party features 80 minigames across a variety of genres, each playable with just a single Joy-Con.
