The Most-Anticipated Videogames Coming This Fall
Don't be too sad that summer's ending: It just means that the year's biggest videogames are about to start rolling out over the coming weeks. In the gallery above, we preview this fall's most-anticipated game releases headed to every console (and PC), from Red Dead Redemption 2 to a bunch of games that aren't Red Dead Redemption 2.
Out October 2 for PC/PS4/XB1/Switch. Is it Mega Man 11 or Mighty No. 9 #2? Like that hugely disappointing, crowdfunded 2016 game that was modeled after the 30-year-old Mega Man platformer franchise, Mega Man 11 ditches the standard 2D pixel-art style of its predecessors in favor of a more modern 2.5D look. Fortunately, early glimpses suggest that Capcom's execution is a bit stronger.
This first numbered Mega Man game in eight years returns much of the development team behind the original games, and their work—which looks like a satisfying blend of old and new—impressed the gaming press during E3 earlier this year, with reviewers suggesting that both longtime fans and newcomers could be satisfied.
