Spielberg Movies, Ranked From Worst to Best
The trial has not yet convened for The BFG. As for every other feature film that Steven Spielberg has directed? Oh, we’ve got the verdicts on those. All of them.
Here they are, Spielberg’s life’s work, from the lesser to the greater, as judged by the top critics and ranked by their Metascores. In instances where movies have the same Metascore, the films have been listed alphabetically.
Spielberg’s “Kick the Can” short is pleasant fantasy, but it’s doomed to belong to a 1983 anthology forever marred by the on-set deaths of Vic Morrow and two child actors (from the John Landis-directed segment).
