Korean drama/fantasy/horror series debuts December 7 on Hulu
A Disney+ original in most of the world but streaming (more appropriately for such a gory series) on Hulu in the U.S., Connect is a Korean supernatural thriller from cult Japanese director Takashi Miike (13 Assassins, Audition). The six-parter is adapted from the 2020 webtoon of the same name and centers on an immortal human (Jung Haein) who tracks down the serial killer who has taken possession of one of his eyes. But he can still see through the taken eye, making him a witness to some horrific crimes. The opening episode screened at the Busan International Film Festival in October and seemed to impress critics there.
