15 Films to See in December
The force is strong with this month: The final weeks of 2015 could bring some of the year's best movies. At the very least, December will feature new releases from directors such as David O. Russell, Quentin Tarantino, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Ron Howard, Spike Lee, Michael Moore, and Charlie Kaufman.
Oh, and there's a little something called The Force Awakens, though if you are hearing about it from us for the very first time, congratulations on awakening from your coma.

Spike Lee’s string of re-interpretations that began with his Oldboy remake and continued with Da Sweet Blood of Jesus (his riff on Ganja & Hess) persists with this adaptation of the ancient Greek play Lysistrata by Aristophanes. Set in contemporary Chicago, the story follows a group of women led by Lysistrata (Teyonah Parris of Dear White People) who organize against the city’s ongoing violence. Early reactions to Amazon Studios’ first feature film (which opens in theaters prior to debuting on the streaming service) are good, with critics claiming Chi-Raq is Lee’s best film in years.
