A belated 1989 sequel to Wes Craven's 1982 film Swamp Thing, Return takes a much more comedic (if not outright campy) approach to its continuing story of Alec Holland and Anton Arcane (Dick Durock and Louis Jourdan, returning from the first film). Directed by the prolific straight-to-video auteur Jim Wynorski, the film introduces the comic book character of Swamp Thing love interest Abby Arcane, and Heather Locklear earned a Razzie for her performance in the role.
