The second film in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy is the saga’s best. The dark superhero film is “twisted, tortured, terrifying - and terrific,” per the New York Daily News. Heath Ledger—who played the iconic Joker—posthumously won an Oscar as best supporting actor.
