One of 2015's most refreshing (and unexpected) surprises, Colossal Order's new city-building simulation gets just about everything right that EA's recent SimCity got wrong, and serves as a true (if unofficial) successor to fan favorite SimCity 4. With an active modding community that seemingly sprang up overnight, Skylines was an instant hit this spring, and Paradox has already released the game's first expansion, with an Xbox One port to follow in January.
