Signed to Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label, L.A.-based jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington had quite a 2015, appearing on Kendrick Lamar's stunning To Pimp a Butterfly as well as releasing his own 173-minute debut album to acclaim from critics.
