Albums must have at least 7 reviews from professional critics to be eligible, and resissues, EPs, live albums, and compilations are excluded.
The New Orleans-based band—basically a solo project for musician Alynda Segarra—moved to Nonesuch Records for their latest album. The survival- (or "nature punk") themed Life on Earth became their third straight release to score 80 or higher, and actually finished with the highest score of the three.
