Chilean filmmaker Maite Alberdi (best known for the Oscar-nominated The Mole Agent) took home the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize: Documentary at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival for this intimate look at the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Augusto and Paulina have been together for 25 years. Eight years ago, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Augusto was a prominent journalist during Pinochet’s dictatorship, and Paulina was a famous actress. Since his diagnosis they have spent every moment together, and Alberdi captured their closeness over four years. With that footage, moments recorded by Paulina, and Augusto’s archives of their time together, Alberdi creates a singular love story.
