Anthology series debuts August 14 on AMC and AMC+
While the original Walking Dead may be nearing its conclusion, the TV franchise as a whole shows no signs of ending anytime soon. The first of several upcoming spinoff shows, Tales is an episodic anthology featuring six stand-alone, hour-long episodes set in the same universe as the original series but varying in tone. Each episode features a different cast and characters (though there will be some returning faces from the prior series), and actors slated to appear this season include Terry Crews, Anthony Edwards, Olivia Munn, Samantha Morton, Poppy Liu, Jessie T. Usher, Parker Posey, Embeth Davidtz, and Jillian Bell. Haven't been keeping up with the franchise? No problem: Tales is designed to be approachable for newbies and longtime fans alike.
