Writer/producers/directors John Ridley (12 Years a Slave) and Carlton Cuse (Lost) team for an eight-episode adaptation of the nonfiction book by Sheri Fink that is set in a New Orleans hospital in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. It's a time when the facility is without power amid suffocating heat and staff members are forced to ration care, ultimately leaving dozens of patients dead—and several doctors and nurses facing criminal charges. Vera Farmiga, Cornelius Smith Jr., Cherry Jones, Adepero Oduye, Robert Pine, W. Earl Brown, and Julie Ann Emery star. Episodes will stream weekly, but you'll get to see the first three on day one.
