Miniseries debuts August 25 on Hulu
Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight) stars as heavyweight champion boxer Mike Tyson in a controversial eight-episode biographical miniseries from the I, Tonya team of writer Steven Rogers and director Craig Gillespie. Why is it controversial? Mainly because Tyson himself (who did not participate in the production in any way) has spoken out against it, calling the series "tone-deaf." The cast also includes Russell Hornsby (as promoter Don King), Harvey Keitel (as Tyson's coach Cus D'Amato), Laura Harrier (as actress Robin Givens, who was once married to Tyson), and Li Eubanks. Two episodes stream each week.
