Documentary miniseries debuts August 29 on Nat Geo and August 30 on Hulu
With the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks rapidly approaching, you can expect quite a few commemorative TV specials in the coming weeks. This one, in addition to being one of the first out of the gate, may also be the most thorough. One Day in America is a seven-hour, six-part series (airing across four consecutive nights) that retraces the events of September 11, 2001 through a series of first-person accounts from first responders and survivors of the attacks (constructed from new interviews with 54 people) combined with archival footage, some never before seen. Episodes will also stream on Hulu the day after they air on Nat Geo.
