Drama series debuts April 7 on The CW. In a gender-reversed reboot of the 1970s David Carradine series, Olivia Liang (Legacies) heads the cast as a Chinese-American woman who heads to China to train in the martial arts and then returns home to use her new skills to fight crime in the Bay Area and avenge the death of her mentor. The cast may not be well known to American audiences, but you will definitely recognize veteran actor Tzi Ma (whose credits include The Man in the High Castle and The Farewell, among others). The adaptation comes from former Lost writer Christina M. Kim and counts Greg Berlanti among its producers (which probably goes without saying at this point).
