Movie debuts April 30 on Prime Video. Paramount's first spinoff from its sporadic Jack Ryan film series based on the Tom Clancy novels was originally targeting a theatrical release last fall. Instead, the film was sold off to Amazon, making it a Prime Video exclusive. Remorse depicts the origin story of the franchise's former side character of Navy SEAL turned CIA agent John Clark, played here by Michael B. Jordan (and previously portrayed by Liev Schreiber and Willem Dafoe). Stefano Sollima (Sicario: Day of the Soldado) directs from a screenplay by Taylor Sheridan and Will Staples.
