Season 4 debuts April 9 on CBS. The best-reviewed original series on CBS All Access (disclaimer: it's Metacritic's sister company) returns for a fourth season next week that finds the law firm co-run by Christine Baranski's Diane Lockhart adjusting to its new role as a subsidiary of a much larger firm. One episode will depict an alternate universe in which Hillary Clinton defeated Donald Trump in the 2016 election (insert your own comments here), while another will feature a guest appearance by Michael J. Fox (reprising his Good Wife role). Familiar face Zach Grenier will now be a series regular, as will newcomers Hugh Dancy and John Larroquette. The season is scheduled to run for 10 episodes (streaming weekly), though it now seems likely that around half of them will be delayed to later in the year.
