Miniseries debuts April 5 on PBS. Produced by the BBC, this seven-part Masterpiece drama is set across five countries (England, France, Germany, Poland, and the United States) during the first year of WWII, focusing on the stories of a group of ordinary people who begin to be affected by the war in various ways. Helen Hunt, Sean Bean, Lesley Manville, Blake Harrison, and Jonah Hauer-King head the ensemble. A sequel has already been ordered.
