When the latest from filmmaker Ben Wheatley (High Rise) kicked off the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival last year, most critics fell for the film’s mix of offbeat comedy and zany action, but some expected something a bit more perverse and/or substantial from the director. Regardless, his take on a weapons deal gone wrong starring Brie Larson, Armie Hammer, Sharlto Copley, Cillian Murphy, Noah Taylor, Jack Reynor, and Sam Riley has a chance to become a cult favorite.
