10 Films to See in April
Thanks to a recent date change, April's most intriguing movie—Richard Linklater's Dazed and Confused semi-sequel Everybody Wants Some!!—is technically a March release, opening in select theaters tomorrow. But you can see it in April, along with new films from Jeremy Saulnier, Don Cheadle, John Carney, Aleksandr Sokurov, Joachim Trier, and more.
Despite mediocre reviews from a “work-in-progress” screening at SXSW, this first feature film from Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele should still inspire plenty of laughs from fans of comedic duo’s sketch show. Taking on racial stereotypes and action movie tropes, Key and Peele play mild-mannered cousins who must go undercover as drug dealers to rescue their beloved kitty, the Keanu of the title.
