The combination of director Steven Spielberg and star Tom Hanks has already produced one best picture nomination, for 1998's Saving Private Ryan. They will look to repeat that feat with their fourth film together, a Cold War drama (based on a true story about a downed American U-2 pilot) with a script co-written by the Coen brothers.
