In the gallery above, find details on the most-anticipated games that are expected to be released for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC during 2020. (They're listed in alphabetical order.) While our list only includes games with confirmed release dates or that seem more likely than not to come out this year, you'll also find some of the more remote possibilities for 2020 compiled at the end of the gallery.
Out March 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia and later in 2020 for Switch. Another long-delayed title (most recently, shifted from November to March), the sequel to 2016's acclaimed Doom reboot is another fast-paced FPS that splits its time between Earth (overrun by demonic forces) and the Martian moon Phobos. Gameplay is similar, but there are more weapons to choose from and more baddies to use them against. You can even play as a demon against two other players in a new multiplayer mode, while the campaign is over 20 hours long.
